USF First Year Abroad Program
Your first year abroad, your journey to USF
The USF First Year Abroad Program gives international students the chance to engage in exciting educational experiences abroad and begin their undergraduate studies overseas through Verto Education. Spend a full academic year starting in Seville, Spain, and finishing in London, England—then transfer to the ÉîÒ¹¿´Æ¬ to continue your degree.

Program requirements
Please note the following items you will need to complete in order to ensure a successful transition to USF after your Verto semesters:
Minimum requirements
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
- Complete at least 24 transferable credits of coursework.
Selective Majors
Some programs at USF are competitive, and transfer admission is not automatically guaranteed. For admission into a selective major you must also fulfill the major-specific criteria.

*Any credits earned through dual enrollment or prior learning credits do not count towards the program transferable earned credit hours requirement.

The USF First Year Abroad Program is an invitation-only opportunity for international undergraduate students. Students invited to participate will be offered to complete the Program Request Form to be considered for this opportunity.
