2nd Bellini College REU Symposium (BCREUS) – Spring 2026

We invite faculty, students, industry partners, and academic leaders to engage with emerging scholars whose work represents the future of artificial intelligence and computing innovation at the 2nd Bellini College REU Symposium. This USF-hosted event offers a distinctive opportunity for the Bellini College community to explore new undergraduate research pathways and for faculty to showcase upcoming research initiatives. The symposium affirms the university’s commitment to research excellence and student achievement.

Lunch Provided
Boxed lunches will be provided for the first 50 registrants and participating REU students will be provided for those who register by April 27. Vegetarian meals will be available.

About the Symposium
The Bellini College Research Experience for Undergraduates Symposium (BCREUS) showcases
the innovative, faculty-mentored research conducted by undergraduate students in the
Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing.
This event highlights the impact of hands-on research experiences that prepare students
for graduate study, industry innovation, and advanced research careers.
The symposium provides a forum for undergraduate scholars to present their work, share
discoveries, and engage with faculty, peers, and industry partners.
About the REU Program
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program offers students the opportunity to work closely with faculty on cutting-edge research projects across AI, cybersecurity, and computing disciplines.
- Through immersive research engagement, students:
- Gain real-world research experience
- Develop technical and analytical skills
- Build strong faculty mentorship relationships
- Prepare competitive graduate school applications
- Receive stipends and research support opportunities
