Join us on Wednesday, April 1 at 11:30 a.m. for our second Faculty Champions: Rethinking Assessment in the Age of AI session. This event will showcase how USF CBCS faculty Dr. Ryan Henry and Dr. Vicky Buckles have developed and are using authentic, role-play simulation assignments to provide low-risk, high-impact assessment activities. These approaches help students apply what they鈥檝e learned and better prepare for real-world work.

The presenters will:

  • Demonstrate the simulation in action from the student perspective
  • Explain how they designed, developed, and refined the AI role-play simulations 
  • Share lessons learned, challenges encountered, and practical fixes
  • Discuss student engagement, and early data on learning outcomes
  • Explore how this AI role-play simulation assessment model can transfer to your own course
