Scholarships & Funding
Additional Resources
While USF is dedicated to funding global learning, scholarship resources are limited and competitive. From 2018-2024, only about 15% of applicants received funding each semester. Proactive financial planning is essential to fully embrace your study abroad experience without stress, covering expenses like travel, personal excursions, and daily living costs.

Why do I need to do additional funding planning?
Students need to plan ahead for their study abroad program to ensure they can fully embrace the experience without financial stress. While studying abroad offers unparalleled academic, cultural, and personal growth opportunities, it also comes with expenses such as travel, accommodation, souvenirs, excursions, and daily living costs. Adequate financial planning allows students to cover these costs and participate in enriching activities and excursions that enhance their overall experience.
